CALGARY - Leanne Niblock of the Calgary Health Region was cited as confirming Monday the total number of infected people linked to marshmallow milkshakes served at a popular Calgary drive-in restaurant is now 15.

Niblock was further cited as saying it's believed a worker at the restaurant who was making syrup for the milkshakes was infected. The health region is still looking into how that person contracted the E. coli.

Sara Burgess, 15, is still being treated at Alberta Children's Hospital for a kidney complication called hemolytic uremic syndrome and is on dialysis.
