CALGARY -- Police are investigating another potential food tampering case, which echoes a similar incident from about six weeks ago.
A customer who bought ground beef from Buy-Low Foods found a piece of metal in the package, said Calgary police duty inspector Darren Cave.
The person contacted police on Saturday, after making the discovery in the meat purchased from the store in the 200 block of 52nd Street N.E.
Cave said the report was passed on to the robbery unit, which is handling the investigation into a number of food-tampering complaints around the city.
