Richmond Hill, Markham restaurants charged with food premises infractions York Region public health inspectors charged Persia Bakery & Kabob and Hong King Chicken Sept. 2 to 8



York Region Community and Health Services, Health Protection Division, reports the following CHARGE(S)** under the Food Premises Regulation 493/17 of the Health Protection and Promotion Act for the period between Monday, Sept. 2, 2019 to Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019.

Hong Kong Chicken
Address: 8360 Kennedy Rd., Markham
Offence(s):
Fail to ensure food handler in food premise washes hands as necessary to prevent contamination of food
Issue date: Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019

Persia Bakery & Kabob
Address: 10720 Yonge St., Richmond Hill
Offence(s):
Fail to provide handwashing stations with adequate supplies
Use handwashing station other than for handwashing of employees
Issue date: Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019
