ALLERGY ALERT - UNDECLARED HAZELNUT IN REGULAR 39 GRAM CADBURY MINI EGGS

OTTAWA, March 21, 2008 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Cadbury
Adams Canada Inc. are warning people with allergies to hazelnut protein not to
consume regular milk chocolate Cadbury Mini Eggs (39 g) described below. The
affected product may contain hazelnut that is not declared on the label. 

The affected product, regular milk chocolate Cadbury Mini Eggs, is sold in a 39 g
package bearing UPC 0 61200 08021 6 and lot codes 02457T and 02357T. 

This product has been distributed nationally. 

There has been one reported illness associated with the consumption of this product. 

Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction to
those individuals with allergies to hazelnut protein. 

The manufacturer, Cadbury Adams Canada Inc., Toronto, Ontario, is voluntarily
recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the
effectiveness of the recall.

RÉGULIER 39 GRAMME DE CADBURY

OTTAWA, le 21 mars 2008 - L'Agence canadienne d'inspection des aliments (ACIA) et
Cadbury Adams Canada Inc. avisent les personnes allergiques aux protéines de
noisette de ne pas consommer de « Mini Eggs » chocolat au lait régulier de Cadbury
(39 g) décrits ci-dessous. En effet, ce produit pourrait contenir des noisettes
alors que l'étiquette n'en fait pas mention. 

Le produit visé, les « Mini Eggs » chocolat au lait régulier de Cadbury, est vendu
dans un emballage de 39 g portant le CUP 0 61200 08021 6 et les codes de lot 02457T
et 02357T. 

Ce produit a été distribué à l'échelle nationale. 

Un cas de maladie associé à la consommation de ce produit a été signalé. 

La consommation de ce produit peut déclencher une réaction grave, voire mortelle,
chez les personnes allergiques aux protéines de noisette. 

Le fabricant, Cadbury Adams Canada Inc., de Toronto, en Ontario, retire
volontairement du marché le produit visé. L'ACIA surveille l'efficacité du rappel.
