VOLUNTARY RECALL: PRESIDENT'S CHOICE® BAKED BY YOU ROASTED GARLIC BREAD MAY CONTAIN METAL HOLDING PIN

BRAMPTON, ON- May 29, 2010 - Loblaw Companies Limited (Loblaw) is warning the public
not to consume President's Choice Baked by You Roasted Garlic Bread with the UPC
number 0 60383 80497 8 because the product may contain a metal holding pin. A
holding pin may have come dislodged from a processing machine specific to the
product during production.

The affected product, President's Choice Baked by You Roasted Garlic Bread is sold
in a 320g package and has a UPC number of 0 60383 80497 8. All lot codes are
affected by this voluntary recall.

The product is sold nationally at Loblaw corporate, franchise and affiliated
independent stores. For a complete list of stores please visit:

There have been no reported injuries or illness associated with the consumption of
this product.

All potentially affected products have been removed from store shelves across the
country. 

Customers can return the product to any Loblaw store where the customer service desk
will provide a full refund (including without receipt) or contact customer service

Président portant le code UPC 0 6038380497 8, ce produit pouvant contenir une
goupille en métal qui aurait pu se détacher d'une des machines servant uniquement à
la production de ce produit durant sa fabrication.

Le produit visé par ce rappel, soit le Pain à l'ail grillé Prêt pour le four le
Choix du Président, est offert en emballages de 320 g et porte le code UPC 0
6038380497 8. Tous les numéros de lot font l'objet d'un rappel volontaire.

Ce produit est offert à l'échelle du pays dans les magasins de Loblaw détenus par la
société ainsi que ses magasins indépendants franchisés et affiliés. Pour obtenir la

Aucune blessure ou maladie n'a été rapportée en raison de l'ingestion du produit.
