+ How do I order exams and materials?

To request exams, use the order form located under the forms column at the bottom of this webpage. This form can then be submitted to orderdesk@traincan.com. For any materials order, you can submit an order form or visit www.shoptraincan.com to place your order.

+ How do I log into my course?

Use the PIN and PASSWORD you purchased or were provided. Enter these into the top right corner of the learning campus you are associated with. If you forget your password, you can use the “forgot password” function or email info@traincan.com for assistance.

+ What if I forget my course password?

If you forget your student login for a course, you can use the "Forgot Password" button on the online portal you log in on. Otherwise please contact info@traincan.com for assistance.

+ How does the webcam exam work?

After completing your course, you will have the option to “Take Exam Now” or “Take Exam Later”. If you choose “Take Exam Later” you can leave and log back into your account when you are ready to take the exam. If you choose “Take Exam Now", your webcam exam will begin so make sure you are ready!

+ How do I get my certification after I pass the exam?

TrainCan provides certification to all successful test-takers. Individuals who pass an online or webcam exam will receive a digital certificate and wallet card in their student account. Individuals who write a paper exam will be mailed a physical wallet card or certificate depending on what your proctor requested.

+ What is the retest procedure?

If you wrote your exam with a Proctor, you will need to arrange the retest with them. If you wrote a webcam exam, you can purchase a retest using the “Purchase Retest” button in your profile. Basics retests are $20 and Advanced $37.

+ What do I do if exam accommodations are required?

TrainCan is committed to providing our test-takers any required accommodations. Please complete the Accommodations Form (located at the forms column at the bottom of the page) and submit it to info@traincan.com.

+ What languages are available?

Basics, Advanced, Allergen & WHMIS: English and French All other courses are currently English only. We do offer Basics Exams in a wide variety of languages. Please contact info@traincan.com for more details.

+ My certification has expired. How do I recertify?

If your certification has expired, you must complete a new course and pass the exam again.

+ How do I get a plastic wallet card or duplicate certificate?

If you wrote your exam online you can print a certificate and wallet card template from your course account. If you need a printed certificate or plastic wallet card you may purchase it from the Cards/Certificates link at the bottom of this page.

+ How do I become a Trainer?

+ Where do I go for webcam exam help?

Visit the “Webcam Help Centre” tab on the page you use to access your course. Here you will find resources regarding the webcam exam.
